Hoddersfield is in south east Cork. It contains a levelled fairy fort and a separate ringfort. The fort area measures 37 by 30 metres. Stone concentration still marks the lost bank. The ridge gives a wide view. People may have lived, fenced or forgotten the place. The land keeps the shape even when the name changes.
