Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Garraun (moyarta By.)

Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Fairy fort in Garraun, County Clare. An earthen ring, old enough to belong before human memory, standing where the field ends and story begins. People may have lived inside it, loved inside it, forgotten it, and returned only to call it fairy. The ring does not need belief to be strange. It is still a boundary, still a shape, still a place where the ordinary world thins.
