What is recorded here

Furroor is an earthen ringfort in County Clare, Ireland, where a simple soil bank still marks the edge of an old life. The name is a warning, for the fairies are said to own the ground beneath the grass. A human house may have stood there before the claim was made, but the boundary remains drawn in legend rather than law.
