What is recorded here

Thirty-seven metres of grassland hold a circular fort where two earthen banks still frame a vanished ditch. People quarried the western edge for stone, yet the northern bank reaches outward like a forgotten road. The fair condition preserves enough shape to suggest human hands built a defensible home before the land swallowed its details.

In level grassland. Almost circular rath (E-W 37.5m, N-S 37m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse; no visible surface trace of the latter survives from E to SE. Both banks are quarried out at W. An earthen bank, possibly associated, radiates from the monument at N.
