What is recorded here

Located on top of a small drumlin, in a clearing within a copse. It is depicted only on the 1911 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a hachured subrectangular feature. This is an overgrown circular earthen platform (diam. 26m E-W; H 0.45-1m) surrounded by a field drain. The original entrance is not identified, and field spoil has been added to the interior. Rath (LE028-045----) is c. 150m to the E. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
