Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Corbally (ballyadams By.) is an oval rath, 46m long and 40.7m wide, with a low bank, external fosse, and a 3m gap at the east-south-east. The dimensions and entrance are clear. The name and region leave the rest beside the line: a small defended or claimed place in County Laois, remembered now as a fort rather than a fairy tale.
