Fairy fort in Cloghmacow, County Cork: a 32-metre earthen ring on a south-facing farm slope, with a shallow outside ditch at the north-west and a saucer-shaped interior that still tilts gently downward. The low bank has been stone-faced where a laneway passes and partly replaced by concrete to the south, yet the circle remains clear enough to walk around and imagine inside. People may have lived there, herded there, or simply avoided it after dark; the ground keeps the shape even when the story has thinned.

In pasture, on S-facing slope, on edge of farmyard. Circular area (32m N-S; 31.5m E-W) defined by low earthen bank (int. H 0.4m); external fosse (D 0.8m) NW->N. Bank stone-faced externally to NE and E where skirted by laneway; concrete wall replaces facing to S. Interior saucer-shaped; slopes gently down to S.
