Fairy fort / earthen ringfort in Carhooearagh: A vanished ring in County Kerry, drawn on the 1841-42 map but absent later, with no surface trace left for eyes or hands.

Situated E of KE011-019----, this circular enclosure is marked on the 1841-42 OS map, but does not appear on the later edition. No surface trace of this site can be seen today. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 422.
