What is recorded here
Situated on a small natural hillock in gently undulating pasture-land. Ringfort (WM007-052---) 330m to SW. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a circular-shaped ringfort intersected at NE by a field fence running NW-SE. Depicted on the 1911 ed. OS 25-inch map as an irregular-shaped enclosure (approx. diam. 38m N-S; 40m E-W). Present remains consist of a site that has been almost completely levelled, with only a poorly preserved earthen bank and steep fosse visible from NE-E-ESE. The fosse appears to have been re-cut in modern times.
