No visible remains are recorded, leaving the true shape of the Ballynaboley fort to imagination. It may have been a small ring of earth, a hidden home or a abandoned military camp. The fairy fort name suggests people once believed the site belonged to another world. What is certain is that the land still carries the memory of a place now lost.
