A fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Ballyenahan South is a circular, early-medieval defensive or agricultural enclosure, likely dating to between the 5th and 10th centuries AD. The site is associated with local folklore regarding fairy activity, as suggested by its common name, and was once clearly marked on 19th-century maps before being largely levelled.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
