Pump house (8.82m NW-SE; 6.12m NE-SW) c. 0.5km SE of Allihies; beam support wall (1.25m thick) has tall arched ope (Wth 0.79m) at ground floor level. Built adjacent to mine shaft. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992).
