In rough boggy pasture, on top of a ridge, on a SW-facing slope, overlooking Lough Inchiquin. An oval area (8.7m E-W; 3m N-S) defined by an earth and stone bank (Wth 0.7m; H 0.6m) which is eroded in places. A relict field boundary (KE101-012004-) extends to the W from the W arc of the enclosure. A stone circle (KE101-012001-) and a standing stone (KE101-012002-) are c. 16m to the SE.
