Situated on a low knoll in reclaimed pasture. Described in the OS Letters (O’Flanagan 1928, vol. 1, 34) as a caher within which was a Man-made underground passage. Westropp (1899, 381) noted that the ‘caher of Turlough “uamhainn na Turlaige” has been destroyed since before 1839’. A Man-made underground passage (CL006-15002-) is still extant. There are no visible remains of the enclosure at ground level.
