Enclosure in Tooraskeheen — Report the wrong picture

Tooraskeheen holds a buried circle beside an old tomb, waiting for people to remember that living there required building, choosing and returning. The bog has not erased the place; it has paused the story. When somebody walks past the stones, the enclosure stops being a dead shape and becomes a home that existed before forgetting.

100m E of a megalithic tomb (GA036-006----). A semicircular arc (N-S c. 29m) extending from N through E to SE has been exposed as a result of turf-cutting. It is defined by a low drystone wall surviving only as a foundation. This appears to be a pre-bog enclosure, the bulk of which is still covered by peat. A setting of stones in NW part of the interior, just E of the cutting face, could represent the remains of a hut.
