In pasture, near top of hill on S-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 18m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; as hachured oval-shaped raised area (c. 22m x c. 15m) on 1938 OS 6-inch map. Oval-shaped raised area (23.55m N-S; 20.4m E-W) survives. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
