What is recorded here

In pasture, on undulating plateau, on edge of steep natural slope to N down to stream. Roughly circular area (40m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by low earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.18m) NE->NNW, natural scarp NNW->NE. Visible in aerial photograph (GSIAP, R525) as circular area of differential growth. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
