What is recorded here

Situated on a high, heather-covered limestone plateau that slopes down gently to the SE. Heather-covered subcircular area (int. dims 43m NE-SW; 38m NW-SE) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 1.5-2m) which is emerging from the bog. An entrance is not identified. The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003).
