What is recorded here

Enclosure in Gortaganny (coolcoo Ed) is a vanished circular enclosure beside Moylough Castle in County Galway. It measured about twenty-four and a half metres across on the 1931 map, but now only a low natural mound remains in the farmland. Whatever lived there has been smoothed into the land, leaving behind a shape remembered rather than seen.

In undulating farmland to S of Moylough Castle (GA045-029001-). Marked on 3rd ed. of OS 6-inch map (1931) as a circular enclosure (D c. 24.5m).
