What is recorded here
Situated on a slight rocky rise in gently undulating pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 11m) defined by an earth and stone scarp (ext. H 0.8m). There is no fosse visible at ground level. The scarp has an irregular slope with many natural limestone outcrops. From ENE-ESE a modern field N-S orientated field boundary bank of earth and stone overlies the edge of the enclosure. From ESE-SSW the scarped edge has been mostly levelled and is barely visible. The original entrance is not recognisable.
