In rough rocky pasture on a terrace on a S-facing hillslope overlooking the valley of the Barony River and Glengarriff Harbour. A D-shaped area (5.5m E-W), with the straight side (L 4.8m) at W, defined by the linear face of a large boulder at W and elsewhere by a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.6m; H 0.5m). Larger stones occur in the lower course which protrudes from the shallow bog.
