The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Aerial photographs (CUCAP BOC 89-90; ASIAP (13) 3-5) show circular area enclosed by cropmark of fosse (est max. diam. c. 70m). Possibly a ringfort. Second small enclosure to NE (est max. diam. c. 20m). Aerial photograph (GB89.R.27) shows cropmark of a circular enclosure defined by a fosse (Barrett 1989)
