Why this matters

A local fairy fort (ringfort/rath); wider significance not recorded.

What is recorded here

Circular enclosure c.30m diameter of trench and packing stones, possibly with an entrance to the south-east. Very similar to the presumed Bronze Age enclosure at Camlin 3. To the south a causewayed ditch appears to be an annex enclosure. Further to the S are groups of posts that might be buildings and hearths or cremations. Compiled by: Caimin O'Brien. Date of upload: 22 September 2008
