What is recorded here
In a cleared area in undulating pasture and outcropping limestone, within a large multiperiod field system (CL008-109001-). Hachured on the 1842 and 1920 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. Listed as 'Rectangular enclosure' in the RMP (1996). This subrectangular enclosure (c. 23.5m NE-SW; c. 23m NW-SE) is defined by a scarp (H 0.4-1.1m).
