Enclosure in Ballynamought is a 30m by 25m stone-walled gully end in County Cork, built with a straight 14m west wall, a curving 19m east wall, and steep bedrock ridges on the north and south. It may have been a sheltered work yard, a seasonal pen, or a hidden place for keeping what should not roll away. The stones do not claim to be grand; they shape a narrow space where rain, shadow and human use would have met.

The enclosure measures c30m E-W by c25m N-S and is formed by partially enclosing the end of a steep gully with a straight length of walling (L 14m; H max 0.8m; W max 0.4m) at the west end and a larger, curving wall (L 19m; H max 1m ) at the eastern side.
