In improved pasture, on a NNW-facing slope. Depicted as a rectangular enclosure (dims. c. 24m NW-SE; c. 15.5m NE-SW) on the 1st (1840) ed. 6-inch OS map with a field boundary running along the SE side and as a sub-circular area depression (dims. 23m N-S; 18m E-W) on the 1904 ed. This enclosure is not visible at ground level and the field boundary to the SE has been removed.
