What is recorded here
On a slight SE-facing slope in gently undulating pasture with ringfort (TS058-051001-) immediately to the N. This enclosure could be the remains of a small field or an enclosure associated with the ringfort. Roughly rectangular slightly raised area (dims. 32mm N-S; 28m E-W) defined by a low broad earthen scarp (overall Wth c. 50m; ext. H 0.2-0.55m). The scarp defines the area SE-NW and is best preserved SW-NW being very low and irregular SE-SW. The area is defined by the external bank of the rath NW-NE and no clear enclosing element is visible at ground level NE-SE. The original entrance is not recognisable. The interior slopes slightly facing SE and is clear of overgrowth.
