Situated on top of high ground in an upland area. An irregular-shaped area (diam. 28m E-W) enclosed by a low earth and stone bank (H 0.7m; Wth 1.5m) stone faced at NW with no evidence of an external fosse. A laneway traverses the enclosure on an E-W axis with a silage pit and old farmhouse immediately to the NW. Described (OPW files, 1957) as having an external fosse in places - no longer visible. No entrance feature visible.
