What is recorded here

At the crest of the gentle E-facing slope of a low E-W drumlin ridge and c. 130m from the N shore of Lough O' Donra (dims c. 800m E-W; c. 100-200m N-S). Circular grass-covered area (diam. 23m E-W; 21m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (at S: Wth 3.4m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.6m; at W; Wth 4.4m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.6m) with internal and external facing stones and an outer fosse (Wth of top 2.8-3.7m; Wth of base 1-1.2m; D 0.3m at E to 1m at S). The entrance (Wth 2m) and denuded causeway (Wth 3m) are at E. A small drystone-built animal pen (dims 10m E-W; 4m N-S) abuts the outside of the perimeter at E, and field walls radiate from the perimeter at SE, SW and WSW.
