What is recorded here

On a level landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 25.5m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 6.25-7.5m; int. H 0.45-0.6m; ext. H 3-3.5m) with outer facing stones separated by an overgrown fosse (Wth of base 6.5-6.8m; D 1.6-2m) from an outer bank (Wth 4-5.5m; H 1.45-1.6m) SE-ENE. There is a second outer fosse (Wth of base 4-4.8m) N-ESE and S-WSW, with a third outer bank SW-NW (Wth 4.5m; ext. H 1.45-1.7m) and NNE-NE (Wth 5.85m) which can be traced as a berm NE-ESE and S-SW (max. ext. diam. c. 70m). There is an entrance through the inner (Wth 2.6m) and middle (Wth 3.5m) banks with a causeway across the inner fosse at E. Enclosure (RO009-044----) is c. 90m to the NNW.
