What is recorded here

Marked as a oval embanked enclosure (ext. dims c. 70m N-S; c. 50m E-W) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on the summit of a broad hill in a karst landscape. Circular grass-covered area (diam. c. 67m N-S) defined by intermittently visible traces of a stone wall (Wth 2m; H 0.1-0.2m). It is bisected by a NNE-SSW field wall and within the field system (RO035-092003-). Cashel (RO035-092001-) is c. 130m to the WSW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
