On a gentle E-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (diam. 29.7m WNW-ESE; 28.5m NNE-SSW) defined by traces of an earthen bank (Wth 5m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.5m) at NE and by a complete shallow fosse (Wth of top 3.3m at E to 7.2m at N; Wth of base 1.6-2.4m; int. D 0.2-0.5m; ext. D 0.2-0.8m) with a low, flat-topped outer bank (Wth of base 5.5-8.2m; Wth of top 3-3.2m; H 0.2-0.4m) which survives ESE-SW and is incorporated into a field bank (Wth 3.5m; ext. H 1.8m) SW-NW. There is an entrance in the outer bank (Wth 2m) and a causeway (Wth 2.5m) at SE. Man-made underground passage (RO029-077002-) is in the NW quadrant of the interior.
