On a slight SE-facing slope. Circular overgrown area (diam. 47m E-W; 44m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2.1-5.1m; int. H 0.1-0.5m; ext. H 0.8-0.95m) reduced to a scarp (H 0.5-0.65m) N-E-SSW, separated by a rounded fosse (Wth of top 6m at E to 9m at S; Wth of base 1.8m at E to 3.3-5.3m generally; D 0.3m at S to 0.8-1m generally) from an outer bank (Wth 3.6-6.5m; H 0.05-0.25m). There is an entrance (Wth 1.7m) through the inner bank at NNW, and a causeway (Wth 4m), possibly modern, at SE (max. ext. diam. 67m N-S; 66m E-W). Old field walls abut the outer bank at WSW and NW.
