What is recorded here

On a rise at the W edge of a broad low hill. Circular grass and scrub-covered but poached area (diam. 40m N-S) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 6m at E to 8m at N; int. H 0.6-0.9m; ext. H 1.3m at E to 1.8m at W-N) W-N-SE and by an overgrown scarp (H 0.95) on which a drystone field wall has been built elsewhere, with a complete outer fosse (Wth of top 4.5-6m; Wth of base 2-3m; D 0.2-0.8m).
