On the summit of a broad hill. Subcircular scrub-covered area (int. dims 30.5m NE-SW; 27m NW-SE) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 4.5-5m; int. H 0.45-0.65m; ext. H 0.7-1m) with no visible facing-stones. There is no identifiable original entrance, but three relict field walls are attached to the perimeter (max. L 27m) S-W. Cashel (RO047-015004-) is c. 190m to the SSW, while the rath (RO047-015003-) and cashel (RO047-015002-) are c. 250m to the E.
