On the N-facing slope of a W-E spur. Described as a circular area (diam. 43m E-W; 42.5m N-S) defined by an earthen bank, with internal facing-stones at NW, and a fosse (Gannon 1972). It is not now visible at ground level in pasture, but is visible as a vegetation mark (diam. c. 40m) on aerial photograph (ASIAP (228) 27). Rath (RO035-065----) is c. 130m to the WNW. Archaeological testing (03E0749; 05E0042) c. 100m to the W failed to produce any related material (Read 2006h; Byrne 2008a).
