A local fairy fort (ringfort/rath); wider significance not recorded.

What is recorded here

On the SW-facing slope of a small hill. Circular grass-covered but poached area (diam. 29.5m N-S; 27.5m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.3m at E to 1.3m at N), and an outer fosse (Wth 5.5m; D 0.3-0.6m) N-ENE. There is no visible entrance, and an E-W field bank and drain are immediately to the S. Rath (RO016-013----) is c. 280m to the NE and enclosure (RO016-040----) is c. 180m to the E.
