Towards the W end of a WNW-ESE drumlin ridge, and towards the top of a gentle S-facing slope. Circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 28m E-W; 26m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3.8-4m; int. H 0.6-0.9m; ext. H 0.9-1.2m) which had been incorporated into a field bank and hedge, and a complete outer fosse (Wth of top 4-6m; Wth of base 2.5-2.8m; D 0.2-0.8m), which has been re-cut as a drain NE-SSW. There is a modern entrance (Wth 2m) at SSW. Rath (RO029-061----) is c. 100m to the SW and rath (RO029-063----) is c. 130m to the SE.
