What is recorded here

On a gentle S-facing slope. Circular area used as a paddock (diam. 38m E-W; 36m N-S) defined by a flat-topped earthen bank (Wth of base 3.3-4.7m; Wth of top 2-2.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.5m) NNE-SE which is incorporated into a field bank (Wth 3.3m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 1.8m) NW-NNE, and a complete overgrown fosse (Wth of base 3-3.6m; D 0.5-0.7m). There is an outer bank (Wth of base 3.3m; Wth of top 1.3m; ext. H 0.2m) SE-SW and at N, and there are widened entrances at NE, SE and SW. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
