Marked as a circular embanked enclosure on the 1840 (ext. diam. c. 45m) and 1926 (ext. dima. c. 40) eds of the OS 6-inch maps, and situated on the E-facing slope of a N-S stream valley with the stream c. 90m to the E. It was removed during the construction of Ballyshonock Reservoir in the early 1970s.
