Marked as a circular embanked enclosure on the 1840 (ext. diam. c. 45m) and 1926 (ext. dima. c. 40) eds of the OS 6-inch maps, and situated on the E-facing slope of a N-S stream valley with the stream c. 90m to the E. It was removed during the construction of Ballyshonock Reservoir in the early 1970s. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
