This blue commemorative plaque records: Thomas Adolphus Trollope (1810-1892) with his second wife lived at Cliff Corner 1887 to 1892. Dr T.N. Brushfield (1828-1910) lived opposite at "The Cliff".
Thomas Adolphus Trollope was a British civil servant and novelist, brother of Anthony Trollope, known for his own literary works and diplomatic career; Dr. T.N. Brushfield was a notable physician and medical reformer who contributed significantly to public health initiatives in Victorian England.
