Caprington Castle is a 15th century keep in East Ayrshire, Scotland, where the original dining-room walls still mark the medieval heart inside a later castellated mansion. The Wallaces of Sundrum held it from 1385 before marriage passed it to the Cunninghams in 1400, and the family kept it until 1829, when the castle was absorbed into a refurbished house. It remains occupied, with a four-storey centre tower, square corner turrets, and grounds recognised in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland.
