What is recorded here

Located towards the bottom of a SW-facing slope. An enclosure is depicted here on a map of the Barony of Cremorne by Brownrigg and Longfield (1790). No archaeological feature is visible on aerial images. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Monaghan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986).
