Billy and James O'Brien walked that flat Limerick pasture before Caimin O'Brien recorded the stone, giving life to the measured facts. The rectangular block rises one metre thirty-five with packing-stones still visible at its base, while another standing stone waits ninety metres southeast and an earthwork crouches thirty-five metres northwest. The field holds three markers instead of one, suggesting a forgotten boundary or gathering place where people still move through flat green space.
