Wamphray Church

Wamphray Church is associated with St Fillan, a 7th-century Irish monk and healer, and is linked to traditions of pilgrimage and miraculous cures. The site is believed to have been a place of early Christian worship, with local folklore suggesting the presence of a holy well or sacred spring nearby, used for ritual purification and healing.
