Old Crawfordton is a medieval tower house in Dumfries and Galloway. It still stands where human hands built it to resist weather and time. The stones may have guarded property, life or pride, but that much has faded. What remains is a sharp local marker: a small vertical building in a flat region, waiting to be seen rather than explained.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Old Crawfordton as Tower House (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Old Crawfordton Tower House was built in the late medieval period, likely by a local landholding family in the Crawford or Maxwell clans, and dates to around the 15th or 16th century. It is remembered as a surviving example of a defensive tower house in a region with a strong history of clan conflict and border warfare.
