What is recorded here

Corehead is a medieval tower house in Dumfries and Galloway where Patrick Douglas and later William Douglas held land through the sixteenth century. The surrounding uplands still carry Reiver memories, cattle trails and the shadow of Wallace’s early campaigns. That much is recorded; the rest belongs to imagination, not fact.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Corehead as Tower House (medieval). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
