Muir Burn stands in Dumfries and Galloway as a possible medieval tower house, its exact boundary blurred by a hundred metres of missing fact. The land may have worn footsteps, hosted feasts or hidden weapons, yet no human voice has preserved those details. What remains is a ghost of a building, waiting for someone to walk past and imagine the life it swallowed.
