Grey Hill

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Grey Hill as Stone Circle (bronze Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Grey Hill stone circle is likely from the Bronze Age, a period when such ritual or ceremonial sites were commonly constructed across Scotland. The purpose of the circle remains unclear, but it may have been used for seasonal gatherings, astronomical observations, or as a burial site.
