Kilhern

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Kilhern as Long Cairn (neolithic). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic long cairn; dates to the early to middle Neolithic period (c. 3700–2500 BCE). Such tombs are significant as communal burial monuments reflecting early social organisation and ritual practices in Scotland.
